I'm missing my home where my heart really is at the moment and feeling a bit homesick for the colors and brisk air and the love of my life, forever and a day, my James. I wrote this on September 1, 2001. It was a wonderful and magnificent day...
Serenity and Harmony
the mountains of Vermont

the mountains of Vermont

So serene was the day as I watched the Green Mountains of Vermont from my path. Blanketed mountains covered with Mother Natures quilt of tall green pines and blue giant spruces.
~\*/~
Splashes of color from the sun's touch on the rustling limbs of the maples, birches and ash, in an array of reds, oranges, golds and rust, dancing across the sea of greens.~\*/~
Winding paths ahead, disappearing into the mystical untouched forest lands where the wildlife of many different specimens of birds, beavers, moose, ducks, geese, bears, raccoons, deer, squirrels, chipmunks and partridges roam with freedom and share in their garden of plenty. This is their home, their land to freely harvest from and raise their young to become strong for the winter to come.~\*/~
Acres and acres of rolling mountains against a light blue cloudless sky that seems to surround you in it's comfort and calm your soul to be harmonized with the gentle wind as it blows through your hair.~\*/~
Crisp, cool, sweet is the breeze with the essences of the field flowers that line the path, swaying in the gentleness of the breeze, waving at you, purple, white, gold and red as your spirit drifts home to this untouched place I now call my home.~\*/~
~May you gather up the colors of your life
and weave them into rainbows for your heart.~
and weave them into rainbows for your heart.~
